Research Associate (TEMPORARY - part-time, 17.5 hours/week)

Transform findings from a completed research project into a publication for a peer-reviewed journal. This position is ideal for a research professional with strong analytical, writing, and consumer behavior research skills.

What you’ll do in this position:

Conduct comprehensive literature reviews
Analyze and interpret research data
Draft scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication
Revise manuscripts based on feedback and publication standards
Organize research findings, references, and supporting documentation
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and scholarly quality

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Bachelor’s degree
At least one year of research experience
Experience conducting consumer behavior research
Strong scientific writing and editing skills
Ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate research findings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

Experience preparing research manuscripts for publication
Knowledge of peer-review and academic publishing processes

Pay Grade: 46

Typical Starting Pay: $16.50 to $21.25 an hour
